H-W is 36.9 miles and nine traffic jams from Los Al so whichever way you go, you're pretty much toast, so give yourself plenty of time. Personally, we avoid the 405 north of LAX like the plague, so we suggest going up the 5 or 605.

17.8 miles There is no easy way to get to Mater Dei. (a primary reason Los Al fans don't like Mater Dei.) However, the route used by most locals whose kids attend Mater Dei is to take the 405 south to Warner and then head east to Bristol and turn left and go i mile north to Edinger. (This is the Mapquest recommendation as well).

The main athletic parking is around behind on the east side of the school.
